What Information I Collect
When you contact me or book a session, I may collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number or WhatsApp contact
- Any information you voluntarily share in messages or during sessions
- Basic analytics data about how people use this website (page views, device type, location by country)
I do not collect payment information directly - payments are handled by third-party processors (such as Stripe or PayPal) who have their own privacy policies.
The Mirror — Self-Assessment Form
This website includes a self-assessment tool called The Mirror (mirror.html). When you complete and submit this form, the following information is collected and stored:
- Your slider responses to eight questions about anxiety, inner voice, past experiences, coping, recovery, and readiness
- Which tools or approaches you've previously tried (selected from a list)
- An optional free-text response explaining what prompted you to take the assessment today
- A calculated total score and result band (low / mid / high)
This data is submitted via Netlify Forms and stored securely on Netlify's servers. It is accessed only by Nicholas Malin and used solely to assess whether coaching might be a good fit for you. It is not shared with third parties, used for marketing, or combined with other data sources.
No name or contact details are collected through this form unless you choose to provide them in the optional free-text field. Netlify may also log basic metadata such as IP address and submission timestamp as part of their standard infrastructure — see Netlify's privacy policy for details.
Responses are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted. You can request deletion of your submission at any time by emailing info@nicholasmalin.com.
How I Use Your Information
Your information is used only to:
- Respond to your enquiries
- Book and manage coaching sessions
- Send you information you've specifically requested
- Improve this website based on how people use it
I will never use your information for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent, and I will never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Booking and Scheduling
This site links to Calendly for session booking. When you use Calendly, their privacy policy applies to the data you provide there. You can view Calendly's privacy policy at calendly.com/privacy.

Coaching Sessions

If you provide a video testimonial or written review and consent to its use, it may appear on this website or associated social media. You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting me.

This website uses minimal cookies. Google Fonts and YouTube embeds may set cookies from Google. No tracking or advertising cookies are set by this site directly.

This website is hosted on Netlify. Their infrastructure and security measures apply to the hosting of this site. Form submissions from The Mirror are stored via Netlify Forms.

Data Retention
I retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Contact enquiries are kept for up to 2 years. Coaching session notes are kept for up to 3 years after your last session, then securely deleted unless you request otherwise.
